Showreel
This is a quick showreel of a little bit of everything I did Involving. Ad’s, Animation, short videos, as well as a tutorial video.
Before there is any Start or End. I had to have an idea on what I want this video to look like, and what kind of feeling it should have. Having a quick guide on paper helps out with that. I don’t always have it on paper, but anything that I can put ideas on helps out. I would go through a couple of ways on how I might want to showcase this video to the viewer, and taking projects to present to show my skill set. Once I had a couple of ideas jotted down, I choose what I believed to be the best one. And took that idea to Adobe After Effects. Not everything always goes as planed but having my guide helped me keep a good path on what this video should be, and look like. One of the biggest things that I took the most time with in this project would be pacing. I believe that good pacing is a key component in any video. To make sure you have good pacing always have a playlist of songs before hand, it does help out with the vision and inspire new ideas. So not only did I have ideas of what I may want this video to look like, I also had a small playlist of songs to help inspire me before hand. I wish I had more songs to go from but it’s difficult because of copyright claim. You can’t always get the rights to mainstream media song.
